Winners Of Woodland Director’s Cut along with Bejoy Nambiar of Shaitaan fame
Woodland, the leading outdoor footwear and apparel brand concluded with the national competition of ‘Woodland Director’s Cut’ as part of its association with the Nokia India Fest 2013. After screening of multiple films shot by the participants from various colleges across the country, Mr. Harkirat Singh, Managing Director, Woodland along with Bejoy Nambiar of Shaitaan fame announced Abhishek Lamba, Kalisayak Mukherjee and Jacob from Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA), Ahmedabad as the winner of the Woodland Director’s Cut.
Their Shot film titled ‘Stand by me’ will be aired on Star movies shortly. The Winners were rewarded with a Woodland Outdoor Kit along with an invitation to be a part of the making of the next Woodland Commercial Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Harikirat Singh, Managing Director, Woodland said, “We are happy to be associated with country’s leading youth festival ‘Nokia India Fest 2013’. We have partnered with them for ‘Woodland Director’s Cut’ where in we are giving youth, an opportunity to experience and shoot adventure. As part of the association, Woodland had also installed country’s first-ever mobile rock climbing wall that was enjoyed by the participants of Nokia India Fest.”
Announcing the winner, Bejoy Nambiar (of Shaitaan fame), Director, Producer and Screen writer said, “India is a pool of talent and shows a lot promise. Woodland Director’s cut is a big platform for such young talent to broaden their understanding in filmmaking. Choosing the winner was a tough task and we are happy to announce the students from MICA college as the winners.”
