Carnival revellers at the traditional Red and Black dance last year

One of Goa’s most loved and anticipated event during Carnaval, the Red & Black dance organized by Clube Nacional and Samba Square is set for a grand finale as it brings the curtains down on yet another fun filled four days at Samba Square in Panjim. The dance begins at 18:30 hrs onwards.

All good things come to an end, so also the carnival festivities at the Samba Square. The celebrations at the historic Garcia De Orta garden in Panjim will end with the grand finale – the traditional Red and Black dance. The street outside the garden near Mr. Baker will convert into an open air dance floor for the traditional dance. Decked with red and black décor, the street has a number of food stalls serving delectable Goan cuisine and sweet treats. The dance sees party revelers don in red and black attire for the traditional carnaval dance.

To set the mood for the festivities, a fancy dress competition will be held along with live music and entertainment by some of Goa’s top bands including Syndicate, Cascades, L’ACE, Archies and Valentinos. Also in attendance will be DJ Nevz, DJ Roland and Cheryl to host the evening. Tickets for the Red and Black Dance are available at Mr. Baker
