Oil has begun to wash up on beaches along the coast in Goa. The beach stretch from Mobor to Benaulim has witnessed instances of oil being washed up on the shore. Mandrem in North Goa too has reported similar cases. Each year in the months of April and May, oil spills such as these are witnessed at some beaches.
Authorities have been informed about the same.
Drishti lifeguards strongly advise visitors to refrain from wading into the waters due to the oil spills.
