In an exclusive association with Gera’s ChildCentricTM Homes, Mahesh Bupathi flagged-off Goa’s first Mahesh Bhupathi Tennis Academy with a Masterclass for the children of Goa’s first ChildCentricTM Homes, Gera’s River of Joy, today.
The masterclass was followed by coaching for the children of Gera’s River of Joy by the academy’s star coaches offering them an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of their ChildCentricTM Homes even before they move in.
Sharing his thoughts at the event, Mr. Mahesh Bhupathi said,“Sport should be an indispensable part of every child’s upbringlng and it should be encouraged at all levels. It enables the child to channelize energy and prepare him/her physically, mentally and emotionally for different challenges as they grow up.”

The Masterclass saw enthusiastic participation from the children of Gera’s River of Joy. Most of whom have also enrolled for the coaching to follow. Since the facility at Gera’s River of Joy is currently under construction, the coaching would take place at the tennis courts at Cidade de Goa.

Gera’s Song of Joy, Gera Developments’ ChildCentric project in Pune has been completed and handed over more than a year back. The academies are functional and well managed and children are immensely benefiting from them. A technology intervention, the GeraWorld app which, amongst others, helps parents manage enrolment and tracking of the ChildCentric academy programs. With its launch in Goa at Gera’s River of Joy the same operational efficies will be extended to this project as well.
