An evening of fine Italian food and wine awaits diners at The Verandah, signature restaurant of Grand Hyatt Goa, as ItalianChef Saulo Bacchilega and Sommelier Georgia Nanut takes guests to the exotic world of Italian food and wine on 26 May 2012, from 7:00 pm onwards.

Chef Saulo Bacchilega is set to treat diners to a gastronomic journey of fine Italian cuisine.  Carefully selected to please the taste buds of food lovers, the dinner will include signature Italian delicacies as Chef Saulo presents a five-course meal with culinary creations including antipasti, pasta, cheeses and sumptuous Italian desserts.  With the perfect combination of ingredients, Chef Saulo Bacchilega will conjure up some of the most creative dishes to complement the finest wines from the region.

The exquisite evening will allow Sommelier Georgia Nanut from Brindco Wines to showcase a new selection of Italian wines.  Some spectacular wines will be showcased during the dinner at The Verandah, including Prosecco (a dry Italian sparkling wine), Gaja’s Promis Toscana Ca’ Marcanda (an intense red wine) and Castello Banfi Le Rime from Tuscany.  The selection of light white wines will include Cadenzo Valpolicella and Cadenzo Pinot Grigio from Veneto.
