Located in the heart of Panjim, just a stone’s throw away from the heritage corner of St Inez is Hotel Palacio de Goa. The landmark hotel with its beautifully designed façade, quaintly designed balconies and distinct hues boasts of Goan-Portuguese inspired architecture and a warm ambiance. Hotel Palacio de Goa celebrates 25 years of hospitality service this month.

Established in 1988 with just 33 rooms, Hotel Palacio de Goa has today grown into a 55 room hotel, complete with banqueting facilities, restaurants and other offerings. The hotel with its well appointed rooms is a comfortable stay in a convenient location offering value for money. It is one of the few hotels which offer four and five bedded rooms for large families.

Said Sheikh Anwar Hassan, MD, Hassan Group which includes Hotel Palacio de Goa among its  establishments, said, “Over the past 25 years we at Hotel Palacio de Goa have always aimed at offering Goan hospitality and value for money to our guests. Today we are happy to be celebrating 25 years of hospitality along with our guests, employees, associates and the people of Goa.” Added his son Sarfaraz Sheikh who has taken over the reins at Hotel Palacio de Goa over the last few years, “Our hotel firmly believes in offering value for money. We offer high quality of service and hospitality at extremely reasonable rates. Over the years the hotel has been renovated and upgraded to offer better facilities, while yet keeping the tariff reasonable. I look forward to continuing the legacy begun by my father and offering the very best to our guests”    

Hotel Palacio de Goa is celebrating its silver jubilee anniversary with a weeklong Mughlai Flavours Food Festival at its garden restaurant. The festival brings together authentic mughlai cuisines from the regions of Kashmir, Hyderabad and Punjab. The festival is on till the 31st March and will be open for dinner only. Hotel Palacio de Goa does not serve alcohol.
