The Goa Institute of Management (GIM) is organizing a one week seminar on ‘Healthcare Management and Managerial Effectiveness’ from the 14th to 20th October at the Goa Institute of Management campus in Sanquelim.
The seven day programme is aimed at strengthening the capabilities of the health sector professionals working in the field of child health, AIDS, Maternal Health, Public Health and others. with an emphasis on critical assessment of current and future policy and issues. The programme will lead to supportive discussions and help facilitate in crafting of a credible public health systems to provide quality services.
The programme which is organized by the Health Management programme is to improve the managerial competence of state, district and block level Healthcare professionals and medical officials in public health, healthcare management and health sector reforms. The course is designed for National, State, district and block level medical and health officials/Professionals working with the various state Governments, development sector professionals and other stake holders.
Recently, Goa Institute of Management also organized a three day Management Development Program on ‘Financing Healthcare through Micro Health Insurance’. The programme was aimed at strengthening the capabilities of the healthcare professionals, with an emphasis on critical assessment of current and future policy options and issues.
