The sixth edition of Barcamp will be organised at Chowgule College on Saturday August 16, 2014 in the college premises. The main objective of the Barcamp is to bring together people to involve, connect, share and exchange innovative ideas and thoughts.
A Barcamp has been described as many things from being an ‘unconference’ to being an ‘open platform’ for intense debates, discussions and demos for participants. The event is open for students and teachers and will be simultaneously held at Tiger Studio and the Lower Auditorium of Chowgule College.
The Barcamp 6.0 will have 11 speakers from various walks of life coming together to share experiences on one platform. The impressive list of speakers includes Anay Kamat, CEO of Presentsoft Technologies, who will be speaking on Faith: An essential skill for an entrepreneur; Prajyot Mainkar, CEO SPM Softwares, will talk about tech-venting in Bollywood. Ninad Kamat – Certified Financial Planner from Financial Planning Standards Board (India) will speak on 5 steps to Financial Freedom. Flyod D’silva- IT Professor at Goa Engineering College will speak on how to create best possible future.
Additionally, Tulisdas Pai, who holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from King’s College, London; Shweta Tikko, full-time travelling faculty for Art of Living Organization in Bangalore; Colin Coelho, freelance journalist, columnist and reviewer; Chowgule College alumni Harsh Kamat and Rahul Prabhudessai and current students of Chowgule College Rohit Singh and Noel Goes will be speaking at the Barcamp on different subjects.
