Azzure by Spree Hotels Goa in its inimitable style has ushered in the Christmas spirit with a cake mixing ceremony at the resort’s plush poolside outdoor bar and grill Eviva. Spreading the Christmas cheer along with the resorts’ chefs and Food & Beverage team, the management invited their corporate guests, friends, fellow hoteliers, partners, trade associates and in-house guests to come together in the celebration.
Over the years, cake mixing has become a celebrated ritual and is an occasion one looks forward to every year. This year Azzure by Spree Hotels decided to extend the festive cheer to the little children of Sanjay School in Porvorim by inviting the kids to join in the cake mixing ceremony. The children along with their parents, teachers and other guests, donned their especially created aprons and chef caps, rolled up their sleeves and set to work mixing wine and spirits with dry fruits and nuts in a large mixing pot which will go into making the most scrumptious and succulent Christmas cake.
Hosted by Aziz Lalani, CEO, Savoy Retreat Pvt Ltd and Upendra Kulkarni, General Manager, Azzure by Spree Hotels, the resort pulled out all the stops to ensure that their guests had a wonderful evening. The cake mixing ceremony was followed by champagne, cocktails and delicacies. Executive Chef Deepak had planned an elaborate menu which included a variety of crostinis, canapés, burgers and other eats.
